Its single layer, natural rubber construction provides a steady surface that’s easy to pack and carry, or layer or studio mats. The closed cell design keeps out moisture for easy cleaning, ensuring lasting performance wherever you practice.

To Store: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent premature aging of the natural rubber. White markings are a sign of oxidation caused by prolonged exposure to oxygen and sunlight. Avoid leaving in a hot car or near heat sources. See cleaning instructions below to treat oxidation.

Because the eKO Superlite's closed-cell surface does not absorb moisture, the mat may feel slick if you’re prone to sweat. We recommend pairing it with an eQua® or yogitoes® hand towel for grip, or using an eQua® or yogitoes® Hot Yoga Mat Towel for heated practices.

To Clean/General Maintenance: After practice, wipe the mat with Manduka’s Natural Rubber Yoga Mat Restore. Use a damp cloth to gently clean, then lay flat or hang to air dry before rolling. Do not soak, submerge, or use harsh chemicals, as these can damage the natural rubber.

Because the eKO Series is made from natural rubber, it is sensitive to prolonged UV exposure and may fade or become brittle if left in the sun. Avoid storing the mat when damp and ensure it is completely dry before rolling. Regularly conditioning your rubber mat with Manduka’s Natural Rubber Mat Restore helps maintain performance and extend the life of your mat.
